The W engineering skeletonized stainless steel trigger is designed to be a drop in replacement for the Sig P938 and P238 factory plastic trigger. (These do not work with California compliant models or models with a mag disconnect)

    I have shot these triggers on both P238 and P938 and they are fabulous!!! To make things even better I ordered my own trigger for my P238 Blackwood, with a set of S.S. screws and it shipped the next day, USPS upgraded it to Second Day Shipping no extra charge. I have another company’s trigger {no name necessary) that it will be replacing. It took that company five days to ship and didn’t arrive for another 6. When I pick up my new P938 equinox next month I will definitely be ordering another trigger and set of screws a few days before!!! GREAT TRIGGER, BETTER COMPANY!!1

    UPDATE: Just installed my trigger on m P238. Took some measurements before and after. Reduced pre-travel by over over 1/4″!!!! Reduced over travel by almost the same. Dropped pull weight by two pounds mine was already down to 6# before, now its at -4#!!! I had shot these triggers on other people’s guns but now that I own one I am AMAZED!!!! TWO HUNDREDS ROUNDS AND NO SORE TRIGGER FINGER!!! 3″ GROUPS AT 10 YARDS. My (Every Day Carry Gun) is now a tack driver!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    P.S. lets see an out of box P238 do that or any other pocket gun. Thank You W!!! Customer for life!!!!!

    Great trigger for the P938 it has reduced the travel and trigger pull nicely. Allot better feel over the factory plastic trigger. Can be difficult to get the pin removed from the frame be patient and have a good cupped punch.

    When I purchased my p238 the plastic trigger and it felt very gritty not smooth at all and it had a very heavy trigger pull after installing the stainless steel trigger not only did the trigger pull weight go down but it also smooth everything out now the trigger feels great and I’m making much tighter groupings I did not have to have a gun Smith do I need smoothing in the gun the only thing he did was install the trigger I would very much recommend this product to anybody that has a p238

    Swapped out the stock trigger in 10 minutes. New trigger is beautiful. Form, Fit and Function all great. Tried another brand that looked right but wasn’t. This trigger is a fine alternative to the stock plastic trigger.

    I installed the stainless trigger in my P938 SAS and also installed the black aluminum trigger in my P238 Desert.
    Excellent upgrade. Any stacking and crunch associated with the stock plastic triggers is gone. Reset is shorter and over travel is nonexistent. Take up is lighter and smooth and you hit a firmer wall before the trigger breaks. This is an excellent upgrade for the money.
    Despite claims in prior comments, this does not lighten the trigger pull significantly. It just FEELS a lot lighter because of the more precise fit and better geometry of the upgraded trigger. I measured both my Sigs before and after the upgrade with a Lyman digital trigger gauge and the upgrade netted a 3 oz. lighter pull, and I also polished my trigger bar which probably helped a little as well.
    Great triggers at a great value! Buy without hesitation!
    I’d like to put one in my Colt Mustang XSP. If anyone has done that, let me know if it’s a drop-in swap or if it requires fitting.

    Had my local gunsmith install the trigger on my SIG 938. He advised that a trigger job would be a waste of money as it it was around 5 lbs or less. No more grit. Money well spent. Trigger is smooth and light. Got it in black.

    My buddy got one for my P938 for xmas and I just installed it and went to the range, It looks great and it feels amazing! Only issue I had was pretty difficult to knock out the trigger pin and my punch slipped and got a little scratch but really was not too difficult to install, lots of videos on you tube.

    Money wasted on the sig p238…. was well spent on the w engineering trigger! Now it’s like it should have been from the factory….. “PERFECT”. I’m VERY disappointed with the factory sig p238’s heavy trigger pull, over travel, long reset travel, bite and pinch. Credibility and reputation need constant attention, concern. improvement. Maybe sig should reevaluate their engineering capability… I have and I’ll never recommend or purchase sig again.
    With complete confidence…. I highly recommend any w engineering products!!!
